FLETCHERS ACADEMY
Support team

Before embarking on a qualification route, we offer a yearly Vacation Scheme to help prospective lawyers decide if the firm is for them. We also run regular courses to upskill junior lawyers in their roles. We offer weekly webinars and numerous programmes across the business.

Across the business we have over 70 trainees/apprentices which is 10% of the total number of employees. We have been offering the solicitor apprenticeship since the very first trailblazer group in 2016. Fletchers believes that apprenticeships offer an accessible route into law and have worked to increase our apprentice cohort since the very first one. We also support colleagues with funding for their chosen routes other than apprenticeships.

Once our junior lawyers are on a qualification path, we support them with opportunities for learning and make sure they have the tools to succeed. Once qualified, we continue with the development opportunities as there are Associateship and Partnership routes which are available for all to apply. There are also accreditations such as APIL and The Law Society which we support.

We have a fantastic retention rate for trainees/apprentices and have made a record number of 26 offers for training contracts and apprenticeships in June 2023. We aim to grow across all our locations, and continue supporting, developing and inspiring our talented lawyers.
