Blume is one of the UK’s leading customer acquisition specialists in the legal sector that is expanding rapidly across the UK, via both organic growth and M&A activity.
We are growing our business development team and are looking for someone who loves to build and develop lasting relationships and be passionate about business growth and expansion. We are looking for you to develop a prospective client list and work with the team to move them through the sales funnel.
You will also be stepping into the spotlight as you represent Blume Group at events and network gatherings with the aim to create new business opportunities. This role is critical to help our business flourish.

Main Responsibilities:
Client Growth & Relationship Building
- Promote the services offered by Blume Group to Law firms across the country
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their needs and delivering excellent service.
- Represent Blume at client meetings, events, and industry networking opportunities to raise brand awareness and identify growth opportunities.
- Support the development of tailored proposals and presentations that showcase Blume’s value and help secure new business.
- Act as a key contact for client accounts, helping ensure a smooth, responsive, and professional experience.
Performance Insight & Operational Support
- Support monthly reporting processes by providing insights on business development activity, client feedback, and market trends.
- Collaborate with operations and service delivery teams to ensure client expectations align with internal processes.
- Use feedback and data to suggest improvements to client journeys and ways of working.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement across the team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- 2 years + proven experience in a business development, client relationship, or commercial leadership role
- Experience in medico-legal services, legal sector, or professional services
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience developing proposals and leading commercial discussions with clients
- Commercially minded with a track record of achieving business growth and financial targets
- Comfortable working across departments and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Salesforce CRM experience
- Familiarity with marketing collectives
