To assist the HoD in managing and leading the Lead Vetting Team ensuring timely and accurate processing of all leads for all customers.  The role will also feedback, guidance and identification of development needs working alongside the Nurse Educator and HoD.

Main Responsibilities for the role:

  • To assist in managing lead vetting team performance against agreed targets and service level agreements for all customers. 
  • Management of the lead vetting team to ensure lead volumes managed and peaks anticipated. 
  • To assist in completing assessment of new cases into the business and feedback any issues with regards to the quality and delivery of leads to HoD and Managing Director of MLS.
  • Work alongside the Legal Support Team to ensure learnings from the audit of lead decisions are feedback. 
  • Review MI to manage the team performance in line with customer objectives. 
  • Analysis of relevant management information and report as and when necessary on performance (weekly and ad hoc) to the HoD and Managing Director of MLS.
  • Assist in revising and/or formulation of policies and promote their implementation, and  drive a positive change mentality.
  • Ensure that Lead Vetting Team team remains compliant by conforming to established operational regulations.
  • Assist the HoD and Managing Director of MLS with the planning for the external proposition.
  • Support and work closely with HoD and Managing Director of MLS, evaluating the efficiency of processes and improve in line with organisational objectives as and when needed.
  • Work alongside the Nurse Educator to drive and ensure excellence through the department by highlighting and delivering training and assist in development needed by the teams.   
  • Promoting and assisting with implementation of evolving AI tools across the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong medico-legal experience.
  • Be highly motivated, organised, and proactive.
  • Be able to prepare and promote work to a high level of accuracy
  • Display a high level of analytical skills
  • Experience of leading and managing teams effectively.
  • Successful project delivery.
  • Proven successful track record of understanding business requirements and the key performance MI required to support ongoing business improvement & business continuity.
  • Ability to work with and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office package, including advanced level knowledge of Excel.
  • Good communication skills and ability to disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
