Fletchers Solicitors Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Team.
To manage a caseload of up to 160 files. These will be a mixture of MOJ and standard fast track cases potentially involving multiple medical reports. The injuries will be fast track.

Main Responsibilities for the role:
- Run a caseload of mixed MOJ and standard fast track cases.
- To liaise with clients whether via telephone, correspondence or in person to give advice and take instructions
- Arrange medical appointments and consider rehabilitation needs for the client.
- Review medical reports.
- Instruct engineer inspections.
- To regularly review cases for liability and quantum.
- Review Police reports.
- Review and take instructions regarding quantum and liability offers
- Court Document Writing
- Instructing Counsel to attend hearings.
- Consider future losses of the clients on more severe injuries
- Ensure chargeable time recording is accurate and proportionate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in dealing with more than one medical report and valuing multiple injuries is essential
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good communication skills including excellent letter writing, email drafting and a professional telephone manner.
- Excellent attention to details
- Target Driven attitude.
- Knowledge of MOJ portal including, interim packs, stage 3 hearings, issuing part 8 and applications when needed.
- Drafting court papers.
- Awareness of the business needs and assisting with other teams within the department should the need arise.
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:
- Law Degree or Cilex.
- Three years experience in managing own case load.
- As most of the claims will involve motorcycle accidents, so knowledge of motorcycle liability and Case Law is preferred.
