Location: Southport/Liverpool/Hybrid – with regular travel to our network of offices
Due to continued growth and a busy calendar of events, we are seeking a detailed orientated, proactive internal events and engagement coordinator.
Under the direction of the Events and Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of a variety of events and activities that encourages internal engagement and promotes wellbeing.
You will work with our events and wider corporate communication team to drive engagement and make sure we’re communicating effectively with all our colleagues. Your role will be focused on effective event coordination and hands on delivery.
Your key responsibilities
- Assist with the development, planning, coordination, and implementation of Fletchers Group’s employee engagement programme.
- Organise and coordinate internal events, engagement activities, incentives and monthly ‘all colleague days’ across our network of offices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define objectives, themes, and programmes for our internal events.
- Manage logistics of events and activities, including vendor relationships, sourcing of food and supplies, budget management, operational execution and onsite coordination.
- Develop and provide reports and metrics on a regular basis including budget tracking, client engagement, satisfaction scorecard and internal feedback.
- Provide event marketing support including drafting emails and invites, arranging printing, and signage.
- Manage branded merchandise, giveaways and collateral where required.
- Manage internal requests and enquiries from colleagues.
- Capture photographs of activities and engagement at events.
- Assist the Events and Engagement Manager in their various tasks.
- Perform additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
What we need from you
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Well-organised with the ability to multitask and time manage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with a positive attitude
- Have strong interpersonal skills that complement a proactive, solution-driven, team-oriented work ethic
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (plus Canva is a bonus)
- Must be able to travel to our network of offices
