Fletchers Group has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results-driven Events and Marketing Manager to join our corporate communications team to support our extensive and growing charity and partnerships events programme.

We support and host a huge range of charity events every year that our clients, colleagues and other stakeholders can all get involved with, and we are now looking to grow our team to help us support even more amazing events and projects.

You will be valued for your organisational skills and your ability to set expectations clearly and effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will provide synergy and manage relationships between our charity and partnership team and our legal teams to successfully deliver impactful events and support the valuable work of our charity and partners.

Your key responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and execute our charity and partnership events programme, including identifying event goals, working with cross-functional and external teams, managing budgets, and reporting.
  • Manage the event marketing budget to stay within plan, ensure cost-effective use of resources, and maximising ROI.
  • Coordinate event logistics including travel, venue selection, catering, equipment, and accommodation.
  • Analyse the effectiveness events and make recommendations based on these findings.
  • Develop and build engaging event content including presentations, promotional materials, and follow-up communications that positively represent our brand and strengthen our market leadership.
  • Order and track event inventory including collateral, giveaways, etc.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure high-quality event execution.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Work closely with the charity and partnerships team and wider legal teams, to ensure events support overall business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with members of the corporate communications team to promote events on social media, email, website, etc.
  • Stay up to date with the latest event marketing trends, technologies, and strategies.

What we need from you

  • Proven experience in managing successful events preferably in the legal and/or third sector.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving environment, with an ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and within deadlines.
  • A self-starter with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to proof and approve finalised content.
  • Ability to write concise briefs for digital and design teams, photographers, and production companies.
  • Willingness to travel to support events.
